First, These issues were NOT with HeatSource
Mechanical, the issues were with several recently
Manufactured Product Defects.
Summary: Three (3) complete heating system installs
and 17 service calls to fix several Manufacturer Defects,
all under warranty that HeatSource Mechanical honored.
Let me explain.
HeatSource installed a Combi Heating unit some time
ago and since day one it did not work properly.
HeatSource, at my request, visited our home 17 times to
correct the issue(s). At one point HeatSource replaced the
complete Combi Heater with a new like unit at no charge.
The issues with the newly installed Combi Heater were
still present and frustrating. HeatSource was just as
frustrated about the issues and had been on the phone
countless times with the manufacturer trying to resolve
the issues with no end.
At the end of last year (2025) the manufacturer, with
no warning, closed their operations in the United States
and left America. This left thousands of companies in the
USA with no way of warrantying their products or with
access to parts for repairs.
This is where it gets good! I received a call from the
owner of HeatSource asking me to come in for a meeting
on my situation. The owner, Denis, offered to replace my Combi unit with a completely different manufacture’s,
heating system, at no cost to us. When I asked, why he
was willing to do this after the original heater manufacture
left the country, he replied, “Some time ago, I wrote to you
that I would not abandon this situation, because I believe
in our ‘customer satisfaction’ as a first priority”.
Then to further solidify that statement, I found that
Denis had purchased, from an Alaskan supply company,
all of their new and now defunct heater parts. This was
done so HeatSource could now honor the “warranties” to
his customers of the extinct manufacturer. Again, showing
his commitment to “customer satisfaction being his
number one priority”.
If your looking for the “old fashioned company” with
core values, that show they stand behind their products,
after the sale, just like your Grandfather may have talked
about in the era of: “Your handshake is only as good as
your word” & “Your word is as good as any contract”,
HeatSource is that present day company.
Ending Note: Two days after my meeting with Denis, our
new heater was installed by Richard and Jason. They did
a superior and professional job.
